(nothing on Zola; these seem to be devoted to British writers).

A site devoted to the
author of Little Women. This fascinating woman was a
reformer, Abolitionist (she served as a nurse in the Civil War),
femininist; and friend of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel
Hawthorne, and Henry David Thoreau.
